Local employee relations firm, Okana Limited has today announced the appointment of Alison Musselwhite, FCIPD as Senior Non-Executive Director, effective from 3 April 2023.
Alison brings with her a notable professional background, having enjoyed a successful 30-year career at Sainsbury’s, culminating in her position as Head of Employee Relations (ER). She currently serves as Lead ER Specialist for Arqiva, where she works closely with senior leaders to manage complex ER issues and align the organisation’s ER strategy with wider commercial objectives.
Okana’s growth strategy centers around building a team of exceptional talent in the HR and ER space. With the recent appointments of John Stembridge-King MBE, FCIPD and Deborah West in 2022, the addition of Alison to the team is a significant milestone in this strategy.
Nathan Andrews, Managing Director at Okana said:
“Alison is an outstanding senior leader in the HR profession. I have had the privilege of knowing Alison for over 20 years, during which time she has served as a mentor and guide, shaping me into an intentional and mindful leader.
As a member of the board, Alison will bring invaluable independent perspectives, expertise, and challenge to the table. She will be instrumental in shaping the company’s strategy and holding the team accountable while actively supporting a healthy company culture during our growth”.
The team at Okana is thrilled to welcome Alison to the company and looks forward to working with her as they continue to grow and succeed.
