The children at Puffins Pre-School are absolutely delighted with a brand new Playhouse they have in their playground thanks to a donation from a local business.
“We used to have a plastic Playhouse which had really come to the end of its natural life,” says Vanessa Meadows, Manager of Puffins Pre-School. “Now thanks to a donation from J.P. Morgan we have been able to purchase a very robust timber model that is going to have plenty of use throughout the year and the children love playing in it.”
Puffins Pre-School is based at Immanuel Church in Southbourne and caters for children aged 2 up to school age and has 37 children currently registered with them. They operate during term time from 9am to 3pm.
Volunteers helped to construct the Playhouse which came as a flat pack unit.
“We are very grateful for all the support we receive from parents and they again stepped up to the mark in helping to put this together for us,” added Vanessa.
