Fluid conveyance supplier Polyhose UK is delighted to welcome Commercial Procurement & Supply Apprentice Serge Roa to its expanding team.
Serge recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc in Economics. During his placement year, he completed an internship at McDonalds, where he honed his ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver excellent customer service.
As part of his apprenticeship, Serge will complete his CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification to deepen his procurement and supply chain management expertise.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Serge and supporting him through his integration into Polyhose,” Managing Director Marc Whibley commented. “Serge brings the academic knowledge gained through his university degree, combined with valuable skills he gained during his internship at McDonalds, which shaped his approach to professionalism and problem-solving.
As we open up our new warehousing facility next year to accommodate a wider range of products and increase the depth of our stock holding, Serge will play a pivotal role in our future development.”
