South West rural insurance company Cornish Mutual has expanded its Dorset team, by recruiting Nick Bunting to its Field Force. Nick will provide on-the-ground support to Cornish Mutual Members along the South Dorset coast, from Bridport to Bournemouth.
Nick Bunting joins from Bridport-based commercial catering supplier, A J Supplies, where he worked for three years, supplying a number of campsites and rural businesses across Dorset.
Nick is originally from Nottingham, where he met his wife Hannah Duke when she was studying in the city. In 2012, the couple moved to Hannah’s home town of Dorchester so she could begin her teaching career. Hannah’s family have a long history in the area: they had a dairy farm and formerly owned Duke’s Auctioneers in the town. Nick and Hannah now live in the village of Litton Cheney with their two young daughters.
A keen shooter and fisherman, Nick also helps to manage the vineyard at the family farm. He is an active member of Dorset Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking of his appointment to Cornish Mutual, Nick said: “I am delighted to be serving the community where I live. I enjoy field based roles and enjoy being out and meeting people. I am also very involved in the local rural and business communities, so will share many of Cornish Mutual Members’ interests.
