As a trusted supplier to P&O Cruises for 20 years, Tower recently played a key part in helping the industry giant launch their new vessel, Arvia. As well as supplying products and resources, Tower also climbed onboard to train their teams on how to use the innovative and sustainable floor scrubber, the i-mop.
P&O Cruises have an incredibly high standard of onboard cleanliness. This makes efficient, effective, and safe cleaning solutions essential. That’s why Tower’s goal is to be the first to provide innovative and sustainable products. As the latest in hygiene and janitorial solutions, the i-mop is 90% cleaner and 70% faster than conventional wet mopping, so floors are left dry and safe immediately after use.
The training sessions helped the teams get used to – and take advantage of – the i-mop’s fantastic features. Including drive support for easy movement, i-link cloud for tracking and monitoring, an intuitive control panel, and its floating ball system.
The team onboard were so impressed with the i-mop that when Tower interviewed Arvia’s Head of Housekeeping Galvin Mathias, he immediately began praising the benefits for the onboard crew…
“These i-mop machines that we have onboard right now are a wonderful addition. The crew is very happy and find them user-friendly. And in just a few days, the crew are fully trained with the help of our partner Tower. I would recommend that this is now used on all our other cruise ships.”
