Peter Harding Wealth Management (PHWM) reflects on its successful 2-year partnership with Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and renews its support for the 3rd consecutive year.
PHWM Marketing Manager, Julian Barrett said, “We really enjoy our partnership supporting Lewis-Manning. They provide us with so many varied and diverse ways to get involved with the local community. We’ve had so much fun, which includes; supporting their art exhibition at The Lighthouse in Poole, getting involved in the Christmas tree recycling scheme, during which we purchased 10 christmas trees from the hospice and donated them to deserving local causes across Dorset.
“We’ve been involved in their Sunflower campaign, sending out Lewis-Manning sunflower seeds to a 1,000 of our clients.
“A particularly rememberable event was the ‘3 Peak Challenge’ which took place at Rock Reef indoor climbing activity attraction on Bournemouth Pier, during which the team of staff climbed the equivalent of the 3 Peaks.
“We’ve also sponsored their regular printed newsletter which goes out to the supporter, patient and volunteer data base.
“More recently we had a team of 16 staff carrying out a 14-mile Jurassic Coast Walking Challenge – the journey started at Chessil Beach on Portland, with the team stopping off for lunch at the Lobster Pot and then continued all the way to ‘The Boat that Rocks’ restaurant at Portland Marina.
“Our support, to date, has resulted in over £17,000 of commitment to the charity.”
Lewis-Manning Corporate fundraiser Nicki Cluley added, “It’s been brilliant working with the team at PHWM. Their support has been incredible, particularly in our 30th anniversary year. We are so pleased that their commitment to us will continue in 2023, it makes a huge difference to the services that we offer to patients and their loved ones with life limiting illnesses in East Dorset and Purbeck.”
Established in 1993, PHWM has High Street offices situated in Canford Cliffs, Sherborne, Shaftesbury as well as Corsham in Wiltshire.
