Poole Sea Cadets are delighted to have joined Dorset Chamber and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.
Nationally the Sea Cadet Corps has 15,000 cadets aged between 10-18 years of age. There are 400 local units being run by 9,000 volunteers.
Each Unit is an independent is an independent charity.
Poole Sea Cadets was founded some 80 years ago in 1939. Since then, it has offered its service to the local community of Poole. One of the first Unit’s in the country to welcome female Sea Cadets it has always been at the forefront. 1994 saw the Unit being recognised as the best in the country and awarded the Canada Trophy.
Today we continue our high standards of training and are 60 cadets strong with a lengthy waiting list.
