PSP Dorset offers new service

PSP Logistics launched its Dorset depot 4 years ago in the Port of Poole, offering shipping and export packing and case making to businesses in the region.  It didn’t take long before it outgrew the premises, so PSP Dorset moved to Bournemouth Aviation Park.  Over the past two years the company has seen growth in all areas of the business and consequently has invested in new warehousing software and racking to add 3rd Party Logistics to the services it offers.

Since moving to the Airport, PSP Dorset has seen a huge rise in the demand for fulfillment services.   From start-ups to big corporations, businesses need somewhere to store their products and a service that they can rely on to pick pack and deliver their products to their clients.  Storage costs are at a premium in the Dorset region and availability is limited so with this in mind at PSP Dorset’s airport hangar they have installed 800 racking spaces.  The new warehousing software means PSP’s customers don’t even need to pick the phone up it can all be picked through the online portal.  The freight team based in PSP Logistics in Fareham organise the freight deliveries to destinations all over the country and the world so this new service compliments what the company is already doing.

Managing Director Frank Dixie said ‘We are constantly looking at ways to improve our service and offer the right options to our customers. Whether its shipping, packing, fulfilment or storage we can now do all of this under one roof. The joy of using a fulfilment service is that there is no need for a business to take a huge risk and invest in warehousing. This way customers only pay for the space they use which is preferable for start-ups and SMEs.  Martin and the team at PSP Dorset are providing a very personal service, tailored to each customer’s specific requirements and they are very good at hand holding through complicated projects.’
