Ringwood Carnival Society

Organisers from Ringwood Carnival Society have lined up a host of activities, competitions, displays, entertainment, stalls, fairground rides, fireworks and processions at this year’s extravaganza.

Regional law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors – with offices at Monmouth Court in Ringwood town centre – has continued its long-standing support of the exciting event as a ‘gold’ sponsor.

Carnival chairman Ben Salsbury said: “We’re looking forward to a fantastic event.
“It wouldn’t happen without the commitment of so many volunteers, supporters and local businesses, such as Ellis Jones Solicitors. We are incredibly grateful for the firm’s backing once again.”

The carnival, first held in 1928, raises money for local charities, organisations and good causes.  It starts at 12noon on September 17 and includes two processions – at 2pm and 7.15pm – followed by fireworks at 9.30pm.

Nigel Smith, managing partner at Ellis Jones Solicitors, said: “Ringwood Carnival is always a superb day and raises a great deal of money for the community.
“We have a fun-loving team at Ellis Jones and are looking forward to a great event. We’re proud to continue our longstanding support for one of the highlights of Ringwood’s calendar.”

Ellis Jones has more than 170 staff including 21 partners in five offices across the south as well as London.
