For the last 7 years Beales Gourmet have been catering for hospitality guests at the British Beach Polo Championships at Sandbanks in July.
Now in its 11th year the event organisers, Sandpolo Ltd, are working with Beales Gourmet to deliver the ultimate dining experience in the elaborate marquees built on the golden sands of Sandbanks beach. Hospitality guests will be greeted with a champagne reception at 1pm before tucking into an exquisite lunch accompanied by fine wine and an amusing and educational talk on horse polo. With views across the polo arena out to Old Harry Rocks guests will continue to enjoy the gladiatorial polo from their ‘ringside’ seats. Polo is not the only spectacle during the afternoon.
‘Sandscrum’ Beach Rugby will be exhibited for the first time in association with Bournemouth Rugby Football Club and the ever popular 4×4 V polo pony Charity Race in aid of the Household Cavalry Foundation remains in the programme. Afternoon tea is served at 5pm as the final polo match of the day gets underway. At 6pm the excitement moves from the beach arena to the main marquee where the Ibiza Fashion show kicks off an evening of live and DJ music.
