A message from Johnny Wheeler, founder of Sandpolo:
The team and I are proud to be entering into year 15 of Sandpolo. Wow, it seems like yesterday we were planning our first event at Sandbanks back in 2008!
I can’t thank you enough for sticking with us in 2020/21 which as everyone knows wasn’t a great time to work in events. We weren’t quite sure how things would pan out in September for the rescheduled event, but the weather could not have been kinder, our suppliers and partners stepped up to the challenge and we think it was our best event yet. The feedback has been phenomenal.
Sandpolo is a festival like no other in the UK. Each summer 6,000 guests head to the stunning shores of Sandbanks Beach, a world famous destination with its luxury properties and pristine white sand. We start our build on the Monday and by Friday lunch time we’re welcoming our first guests. By the following Wednesday you’d never even know we’d been there!
Thank you to the multitude of luxury lifestyle brands that have successfully partnered with Sandpolo over the years. Global brands including Moët & Chandon, Shepherd Neame, Sunseeker, Whispering Angel and most recently our apparel sponsor The US Polo Assn. Without them we wouldn’t be here.

It’s our wonderful guests that make the event so special. I‘ve seen so many familiar faces support us year in year out and am delighted you keep returning. We’re always excited to welcome new faces and introduce you to our polo party on the beach – so please do come along in 2022 and join in the fun.
