Savills Wimborne appoints new head of office

International real estate advisor Savills has announced that development director, Philip Beattie, has become the new Head of Office at Savills Wimborne, effective from 1st January 2023. Philip takes the reins from Mark Turnbull, who has stepped down from the position after seven years.
Mark will now be focusing purely on his role as director within the property management division at Savills. He joined the company in 1989 and has overseen the expansion of the Wimborne office over the last seven years to now a team of more than 130 people. The office at Wessex House has recently celebrated its 75th anniversary and has teams covering a wealth of property services including residential, farm and estate management, development, planning, heritage, energy and infrastructure, valuation, client accounting, healthcare, building consultancy and cartography, design and GIS, as well as a team providing integrated real estate services to corporate occupiers worldwide.
Philip joined the company in 2004 and is a director in the South Coast Development team.
