Business owners and finance managers are being invited to an innovative seminar and exhibition which aims to demystify ‘cloud’ accounting software and allow them to make clearer choices when it comes to picking the right package.
Organised by Smith & Williamson LLP, the tax and accountancy firm, the seminar will provide a platform for software developers to demonstrate the key benefits of their products and to help businesses and organisations identify what they need to look out for when it comes to choosing the right software to fulfil their needs.
Taking place in Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton, the Cloud Business Software Expo will include presentations from top software providers, leading app developers and some live demonstrations. Delegates will also have the opportunity for one-to-one discussions with exhibitors to have their questions answered.
Amy Harper, Associate Director within the business outsourcing services team at Smith & Williamson LLP, said “With so many accounting software platforms now available, it’s sometimes difficult to decide which one will best meet the needs of your business.”
Whether you are looking to transition to the cloud, looking to upgrade your existing cloud platform, or just want to find out what the cloud is, the group of experts that we’ve brought together will provide an insightful view of what to look out for, as well as enable you to identify what you don’t want or need. It’s not often you see representatives from the top platforms together in one space!
There will be 15 speakers and exhibitors including software developers; Sage and Xledger, as well as demonstrations from Receipt Bank, WorkflowMax, Fluidly, Xledger and Xero.
Amy added “It’s vitally important that businesses pick the right software package, as this will help to save time and money. Moving to real-time financial management will help businesses to be more agile in making strategic decisions.”
