Leading Dorset solicitors Steele Raymond has continued its growth in the region with the addition of a specialist wills and probate lawyer to its offices in Southbourne.
Solicitor Becci Newton joins the highly regarded Tax, Trusts, Wills & Probate team and follows a number of key appointments at Steele Raymond over the last two years.
Portsmouth-born Becci specialises in helping clients with probate and estate administration, Will drafting, Lasting Power of Attorney preparation and Enduring Power of Attorney registration.

Becci is also experienced in dealing with Court of Protection applications, a process by which a person’s interests are safeguarded if they lack the mental capacity to take decisions for themselves.
Becci continued: “It is important that clients consider their medium to longer term future when dealing with their private affairs. Important legal documents, such as powers of attorney must be set up before an individual loses their capacity to take decisions, in case the eventuality should arise. Without it the process of delegating the decision-making process can be much more complex if the individual has already lost capacity.
