South Coast law firm Steele Raymond has appointed a highly experienced Private Client Executive to its growing team in Bournemouth.
Cariad Medway-Smith joins Steele Raymond from another Bournemouth-based firm and brings with her a wealth of legal expertise and specialist knowledge in wills, probate, tax and trust matters. Her appointment takes the firm’s private client team to a total of ten.
For over ten years Cariad has been acting for clients on a range of personal matters and specialises in lifetime estate planning, lasting powers of attorney and care fee advice, as well as expertise in the creation of wills, trusts and charities.
“My will preparation service covers wills for married partners, wills for unmarried partners, wills for business owners and for families with a vulnerable beneficiary to provide for. . I aim to provide a holistic approach – it’s important to take the time to understand the whole picture when advising clients on their wills and estates.”

“I have a lot of contacts within these industries and my experiences prior to law enable me to provide a unique and bespoke legal service to them.”, Cariad said.
Outside of her office-based work as a private client executive, Cariad has appeared as a speaker for Mencap, providing insight for families who use their services on how to make provision in wills for beneficiaries who are considered vulnerable and on important changes in tax law.
