Steele Raymond’s Rosanna Parker crowned Young Property Person of the Year

Rosanna Parker, a Senior Associate in Steele Raymond’s Commercial Property team, has been named ‘Young Property Person of the Year’ at the prestigious South Coast Property Awards.

At the glitzy awards ceremony held on 6 June at Hilton Southampton Utilita Bowl, many of the Steele Raymond team gathered alongside other finalists for 16 award categories, for the evening hosted by comedian, Simon Evans.

As one of the final award categories to be announced on the night, Young Property Person of the Year, sponsored by SHW Property, was hotly-contested with several other young, leading lights from the region’s property community, also on the shortlist.

In her role as a Senior Associate Solicitor in the firm’s top-tier Commercial Property team, Rosanna specialises in a wide variety of property work principally across the industrial, office, retail and leisure sectors. Thanks to her proactive focus on project delivery and solutions-focused approach, she is highly regarded by all our clients. As well as winning this year’s Young Property Person at the South Coast Property Awards, Rosanna has also been recognised as a Rising Star in the Commercial Property Devon, Dorset and Cornwall category of the Legal 500 2024.

Jenny Rogerson, Managing Partner at Steele Raymond said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Rosanna has been named Young Property Professional of the Year, it’s fantastically well-deserved and recognises the very high standard of work that she and her colleagues in our property teams deliver for our clients.

“The awards are a great showcase for the tremendous property talent across the region, of which Rosanna is a real rising star, her dedication to her clients and colleagues is second-to-none and we’re excited for what the future holds for her.”

Rosanna added: “I am incredibly proud and honoured to have received this award, there were so many deserving candidates in the category, several of who I have worked with and greatly admire.

“I joined Steele Raymond as a secretary and wanted to be a paralegal. The firm had never had paralegals before, and I was the first. Now I’ve shown it can be done we have a lot more.

“What has really helped me is having a great team of the nicest people around me who are all good at what they do and who really care about people.

“As part of our top-tier Commercial Property team, I specialise in industrial estates, in particular. One client even named their industrial estate after my middle name: Parvaneh Business Park in Ringwood.”

The Steele Raymond team were also finalists for Property Law Firm of the Year, in another close-called category.

The South Coast Property Awards recognise professionals from the commercial and residential property community across the south coast, from Weymouth to Chichester and the Isle of Wight to Basingstoke. Judged by an independent panel comprising three judges from the Southampton Property Association (SPA), Portsmouth Property Association (PPA) and Bournemouth Property Association (BPA), finalists were selected across 16 categories.
