Studio Global is celebrating 25 years of helping brands grow stronger through creativity. To mark the milestone, the independent agency is doubling the size of its Boscombe studio to create more space for collaboration and expanding its support for emerging talent through portfolio reviews, work experience and student placements.
Founded in 2000 by Darren Mooney, Studio Global began as a small design and print studio built on a simple belief, that great design makes businesses stronger. Today, that philosophy continues to guide the agency’s full-service creative work, which spans brand identity, digital experiences and film campaigns for national clients.
“We’ve evolved from a small print studio into an agency that helps brands think bigger and communicate more clearly,” said Darren Mooney, Co-founder and Creative Director. “Our growth has always been driven by curiosity, strong relationships and a focus on making every brand we work with stronger.”
The expansion of the Boscombe studio reflects the agency’s commitment to creativity and collaboration. The new space will include dedicated areas for team projects and client sessions, as well as enhanced production facilities to support more ambitious creative work.
“The new studio will give us the freedom to experiment, collaborate and deliver even more standout work for our clients,” Darren added.
Alongside its growth, Studio Global is continuing to invest in the next generation of creatives. Darren recently took part in Bournemouth University’s Your Future Impact series, part of the Employability Show, discussing how the agency supports students through hands-on experience that bridges the gap between education and industry. Many of those placements lead to permanent roles within the agency.
“Supporting young creatives is part of who we are,” said Darren. “It’s about giving people the opportunity to learn, grow and make their mark, and seeing them succeed is incredibly rewarding.”
Over the past 25 years, Studio Global has worked with a wide range of clients including Virgin Media, Molson Coors, Hall & Woodhouse and Steele Raymond, as well as community organisations such as STARS Dorset, Diverse Abilities and YMCA Bournemouth.
“After 25 years, we’re as passionate as ever about what we do,” said Sharon Parker, Managing Director. “We’ve seen how creativity can transform businesses, and that’s what drives us every day. Still proudly independent and ambitious, Studio Global remains committed to making creativity work harder for businesses across Dorset, Central South and beyond.”
