The Future Leader programme, sponsored by Mazars and Fretten, was established in 2022 and supports the personal and professional development of young professionals aged up to 30.
Throughout the year, the Future Leader programme hosts a series of events that provide a valuable networking opportunity and a focus on a range of themes to support personal and professional development. From effective networking, ESG, personal finances and public speaking to interview skills, building confidence and entrepreneurship. During the events, attendees have the opportunity to hear life stories from inspiring business leaders as well as take part in social and fitness-focused events.
Chair of Future Leaders, Toni Taylor, managing director and founder of Tru Talent, is a Dorset Chamber board member, ensuring the voice of Future Leaders helps drive Dorset Chamber at a strategic level.
Future Leaders offers a supportive space for young professionals to come together to network, learn from each other, and develop their skills as they look forwards in their career. Now in its second year, Future Leaders has hosted a series of popular networking events, offering opportunities to enhance individual networking skills, get insights from inspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs, develop those crucial interpersonal skills, and engage in discussions on key topics such as sustainability.
