T Levels @ Poole High School from September 2023- Local Business Support required
Poole High Sixth Form have been approved to deliver T Level qualifications from September 2023 and are extremely proud that we are the only school or college in the BCP and Dorset area who have been approved to deliver the T Levels in Accounting and in Finance.
As part of our preparation and to facilitate our delivery, we are eligible to apply for funding to create a purpose-built space dedicated to these courses to enable students to fully access and engage in these qualifications. We are bidding for a current space in our school to be refurbished to included; 4 designated multipurpose teaching rooms including computer space, a breakout space to be used as a private study, hot desk space and also to use for workshops and business talks and upgraded toilet facilities.
As part of this bid process, we as a school, have to commit to a percentage of the building costs from school budgets or local business support. Despite the constrained school budget, PHS and the Governors have committed to contribute towards this bid but we do require additional funding from local businesses to help bring this exciting opportunity to fruition.
What we are looking for: A commitment from local businesses to contribute between £4,000-8,000 with the building work and/or a commitment to contribute with the internal furnishings on the classrooms or break out space.
What can we offer in return: The opportunity to access the emerging talent of our student body including recruitment events and also to promote the strong relationships we are building between business and education and developing your CSR policy.
The Department for Education bid process requires us to submit the bid by Friday 3 February 2023 therefore if your business is able to help support this exciting opportunity we would require a written confirmation of any commitment you would be willing to make by the 1 February via email on Tlevels@poolehigh.poole.sch.uk
If you have any questions regarding this or any other support you may wish to offer PHS please contact on the email above or contact Miss E Wyatt on 01202 666988 ext 336.
