Tops Wimborne Joins Forces with Wimborne Food Bank to Make a Meaningful Impact on Hunger in the Community

Tops Wimborne, a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early education services, is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Wimborne Food Bank, aimed at combating food insecurity and supporting families in need within the local community.

As part of their ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Tops Wimborne has recognised the crucial role that food banks play in addressing hunger and supporting vulnerable individuals and families. By joining forces with the Wimborne Food Bank, Tops Wimborne aims to make a significant and immediate impact on alleviating food insecurity within the community.

Through this collaboration, Tops Wimborne will be visiting the food bank every month with their preschool children. The aim is to collect a wide range of non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, rice, and other essential items that can help nourish individuals and families facing difficult times.

Tops Wimborne encourages parents, staff, and members of the community to contribute to this vital cause by donating non-perishable food items at their centre, located at the Park Community Centre, BH21 2AP.

Hannah Stanyon, Deputy Manager at Tops Wimborne, said: “We are proud to team up with the Wimborne Food Bank to address food insecurity in our local area. At Tops Wimborne, we strongly believe in supporting our community, and this partnership allows us to extend our commitment beyond early education and childcare. By collecting donations and raising awareness about this issue, we hope to make a positive impact and help those who need it most.”

Tops Wimborne is part of a sustainable day nursery chain, Tops Day Nurseries, who have over 30 nurseries across the South and Southwest. Tops also offer before, after-school and Hi5 holiday clubs for children up to the age of 11.
