This qualification provides employees with the knowledge to help them to carry out designated duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures in the workplace, for example as fire wardens or fire marshals.

Who needs this qualification? 
This course is suitable for employees who may be part of a first response team or have specific fire safety responsibilities to the designated responsible person.

Why is this training important? 
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) requires the responsible person to appoint and provide adequate training for one or more ‘responsible persons’ to assist with fire safety in the workplace.
