Certified by MHFA England, our two day mental health first aid course qualifies you as a ‘Mental Health First Aider’.
What will I learn?
On completion of the training Mental Health First Aiders will have:
An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgmental listening
Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support including, self help resources whether that’s through their employer, NHS or a mixture of different support strategies
Who is the training suitable for?
Anyone who would like the role of Mental health first aider in the workplace.
This course is delivered over 4 sessions by a qualified MHFA instructor.
Course dates: 19th, 21st, 23rd & 26th October (2 days split into 4 sessions)
19th October: 10.30am-12.15pm
21st October: 9.30am – 12.30pm
23rd October: 10am – 12.30pm
26th October: 10am – 12.30pm
