Trethowans is delighted to welcome Charlotte Farrell and Tabytha Cunningham to further strengthen the employment team and offer clients the benefit of immigration advice.

Charlotte and Tabytha are highly experienced employment and immigration specialists who have worked together since 2017. Clients consistently praise their collaborative, solutions focused approach and the depth of expertise they bring to complex matters.
Charlotte and Tabytha have significant expertise in business immigration, advising employers on sponsor licences, certificates of sponsorship and skilled worker visa applications. They frequently assist with due diligence during mergers and acquisitions and on the transfer of sponsor licences following corporate transactions. They also regularly advise on right to work compliance, business visitor requirements and the new Electronic Travel Authorisation system.

They also have experience in high-end personal immigration matters, offering support in relation to individual applications including partner visas and citizenship applications.

Charlotte and Tabytha also advise employers on the full range of employment law issues, including managing discrimination risks in recruitment, family friendly rights, disciplinary and grievance processes, absence and performance management, and employment status. They also support organisations with business reorganisations and redundancies, including TUPE transfers.  Additionally, both have extensive experience representing employers in Employment Tribunal proceedings, particularly in whistleblowing and discrimination claims.

Commenting on their appointments, Charlotte and Tabytha said: “We are delighted to be joining Trethowans as Partners in Employment and Immigration. We look forward to complementing the existing support provided by the employment team with our experience in immigration and providing the benefit of clear, commercial and pragmatic advice across all areas of employment and immigration law”.
