Trethowans wins three categories in the Lex 100 student guide

Trethowans has won three categories in the Lex 100 2020/21 student guide for ‘Work/life balance’, ‘Vacation schemes’ and ‘Inclusiveness’.

The awards mean that out of 130 top UK law firms, Trethowans are ranked amongst the top 20 firms in the country.

One trainee solicitor said that the ‘work/life balance is fantastic’ and ‘Trethowans looks after its employees and has a very friendly working culture – I have been made to feel valued from day one’.

Lucy Gleisner, Training Partner for Trethowans, said: “We’re really proud of the results of this year’s Lex 100 survey. Trethowans is keen to invest in new talent and we want to give our Trainee Solicitors the best start in their career. Our culture is particularly important to us and being recognised as an inclusive workplace with a positive work/life balance means that we are living up to our values.”

The Lex 100 is the student guide to the top UK law firms. It asks current trainees to rate their firm in twelve different categories and awards the highest scoring firms.

The news comes as Trethowans is also recognised as a ‘top tier’ firm in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500.

Trethowans application process for Training Contracts commencing in 2023 will open in December 2020. More information about training contracts at Trethowans can be found here.
