Tru Talent hosted their first ever Charity Fundraiser event on Thursday 22nd June in partnership with Lewis-Manning Hospice Care for the 30 for 30 pledge which celebrates Lewis-Manning’s 30th Anniversary to challenge 30 local businesses to help raise funds for their amazing cause.
The Charity quiz night was held at The Slug & Lettuce on Old Christchurch Road who kindly offered the space, where Tru Talent were able to raise a total of £700 on the night.
Toni Taylor, Managing Director of Tru Talent who hosted the event, said:
‘’What a great way to spend an evening with the wonderful company and having fun whilst raising some money for a fantastic cause. The whole team thorough enjoyed themselves and I must say even I actually enjoyed hosting which I never thought I’d say! I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 1st Pub Quiz and to Lewis Manning for the incredible work they do every day! We are so glad we could get involved in their 30 for 30 pledge.’’
Nicki Cluley, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for Lewis Manning, added:
‘’We were delighted that Tru Talent joined our 30 for 30 campaign and became one of 30 amazing local businesses to help us raise £30,000 in our 30th year! All of the money goes straight to helping patients in our community, so we are so grateful for every penny raised.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know the Tru Talent Team and we are looking forward to working with them even more this year as they are one of the founding members of our 30 Club – a group of likeminded businesses who like to support their local community. Thank you Tru Talent!’’
