Van Mossel Automotive Group is proud to announce the appointment of Gail Polkinghorne as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for its UK operations. Gail brings over 25 years of experience working for Ocean Automotive, where she progressed from Finance Director to Commercial Director, before becoming Managing Director in 2019 and leading Ocean Automotive through its recent acquisition by Van Mossel.
Her new role sees her guide both the finance function and core operational areas, including HR, legal, compliance and technology, as the group accelerates its expansion across the South Coast following the addition of Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive. Together, these businesses comprise nine dealerships, two body repair centres and a parts distribution warehouse. The Van Mossel Automotive Group also includes operations in Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight.
Gail’s leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of growth for Van Mossel in the UK.
