Vintage Tea Party Proves Great Success

The Brendoncare Foundation, a charity which runs over 80 friendship and wellbeing clubs for older people and the Bournemouth headquarters of J.P. Morgan recently held a Vintage Tea Party to support older people in the area.

The event was held in the J.P. Morgan atrium and was complete with decorated tables, afternoon tea, hot drinks and mocktails!

“Our members had a wonderful time and are still talking about it,” says Lucy Tennant, Corporate and Community Fundraising Officer. “All the food and drink was generously provided free of charge and the table magician, live music and friendly staff volunteers provided a real treat for our club members.”

J.P. Morgan staff acted as waiters and made sure that all the guests were collected safely or reached their transport home.

A donation of £400 was also made which will be put into the Brendoncare Clubs services.

J.P. Morgan employs 4,000 people at its technology and operations centre in Bournemouth and has a strong history of community engagement.
