Ward Goodman, the Dorset based firm of Chartered Accountants and Independent Financial Advisers, has awarded Blandford Rugby Football Club’s, Ben Kimber, with ‘Man of the Match,’ after the team defeated rivals, North Dorset, at the regular league fixture on Saturday 2nd February.
The nail-biting 27-22 win for Blandford, held on the team’s home ground at Larksmead, saw the team beat North Dorset for the first time in over a decade, much to the delight of the crowd of local supporters who had come along to support the eagerly anticipated match.

It was a very exciting match with both teams even at one point, until Blandford managed to get ahead and hold on for a very tense last five minutes of play. We were particularly delighted to present Ben with ‘Man of the Match’ as this is his last home match for Blandford before leaving to play rugby in New Zealand for 6 months.”
