Due to dangerous weather conditions, Wimborne Food and Drink Festival 2017 has been cancelled.
Jenny Brown event Organiser of Wimborne Food and Drink Festival 2017 said:
“Cancellation is a difficult and heart-wrenching decision for any event organiser who has invested significant time, faith and money into an event, however, I had to ask myself the question “Is my event safe?” After careful consideration and constant weather forecast watching, I have sadly decided to cancel this year’s festival.
Whilst weather is out of my control and cannot be managed, I am in control of visitors, stall holders and staff safety and if people are likely to be put at risk then cancellation is the only option.
Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
