Lighthouse is delighted to welcome Trethowans as an official sponsor of this year’s magical family pantomime Aladdin.
The south coast law firm, which has offices in Poole and Bournemouth as well as Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester, were keen to board the magic carpet and have their name associated with one of the biggest shows of the year at Lighthouse.
Produced by Lighthouse, Aladdin is written and directed by CBeebies star Chris Jarvis who will also appear as the iconic Widow Twankey alongside Benjamin Armstrong in the title role, Ionica Adrian as Princess Jasmine and last year’s Pantomime Awards winners Andrew Pollard as the baddie Professor Pocus and Alim Jadavji as Genie of the Lamp. Production Design is by James Smith and Darren Reeves is Music Supervisor. It runs from 7 to 31 December.
“As an independent charity, building relationships with corporate partners is vital to the long-term sustainability of our wide-ranging work,” says Lucy Funnell, Corporate Development Executive at Lighthouse.
“With the help of the business community, we can continue to grow our partner schools programme, take outreach projects into our communities, further our range of access projects, support artists and continue providing the public with world class productions, performances, shows and exhibitions.”
Mike Watson, Managing Partner at Trethowans, comments: “Being just a stone’s throw away from Lighthouse, it is amazing to see how the venue showcases incredible and creative experiences for its theatre goers and we’re excited to support them in this magical production of Aladdin.”
