Newsletter supported by donation of £1,000.00

The cost of 6 Newsletters for the Bournemouth Older People’s Forum, part of Access Dorset, has been paid for thanks to a donation of £1,000.00 from a local business.

The aim of the group is to promote health and wellbeing of the older people of Bournemouth and they welcome all those with an interest in this age group and entry is free.
They meet on a bi-monthly basis at The Bridge in the Access Dorset Building which is opposite the Littledown Centre at the far side of the Littledown Car Park.
“Communication is so important and we are delighted to have the funding to be able to produce and distribute our next six newsletters,” says Pat Lewis, Chair of Bournemouth Older People’s Forum. “We are very grateful to J.P. Morgan for their very generous donation.”
The Newsletter can be viewed on line but a number are also posted out to those who do not have computer access and it is also received by over 200 members and residents who have an interest in the Forum. It contains details of what is happening in the area, future events and useful information from events that have taken place.Nick Baverstock, a member of the J.P. Morgan Community Relations Committee, went along to meet some of the members and see the latest edition of the Newsletter.“We are delighted to be able to help in this way and it was useful to find out a bit more about the Bournemouth Older People’s Forum.”
(J.P. Morgan employs 4,000 technology and operations staff at its Bournemouth Corporate Centre and has a strong history of community engagement).
