For many of our members, the real benefit of joining Dorset Chamber – alongside the extensive discounts – is the full calendar of networking opportunities and events.
Our events calendar is full of different ways to build strong relationships, expand your network, and to develop new business opportunities. Many of our members form life-long friendships with each other, fostering growth for the region.
We offer a blend of more formal, C-suite focused events, to walks and social events which enable our members to relax and build new connections.
From morning breakfast and coffee events, to formal lunches, online workshops, sector specialist events and specialist leadership events, we’ve got an event for all employees.

Business Networking Breakfast
Our networking breakfasts are a great start to the working day. They provide a chance for people to network and have informed business discussions. These popular events attract a wide range of attendees, from across the Dorset business community.
Business Networking Lunch/Dinner
These hugely popular lunch time events offer facilitated networking to maximise the networking opportunity.
They’re a great way for people to extend their network and create opportunities for building your business.
Connecting in Nature
Power up your mornings with one of our networking walks. Get outside in the fresh air (dogs optional) to enjoy our beautiful Dorset countryside. Events are attended by GU6 Champions who are on hand if you to need to speak to them. Includes coffee/refreshment.
Simply Networking Live
Our Simply Networking morning events are exclusive to Dorset Chamber members and offer a fresh, relaxed and informal environment to network and meet existing members.
Sector Events
Sector specialist events bring together specific industry sectors at these events. Discuss, debate and share experiences at this informal, private event.
Business Expo
Meet new contacts, network and promote your business at our popular business expo events. These are free to attend with exhibition stands available.
National Networking Online
Taking place in partnership with other Chambers from across the UK, these online events attract 60+ attendees looking to network and meet new people.
Free to attend, they’re an accessible and popular way for members to interact and build networks. These sessions include a series of breakout rooms and a short introduction from each sponsor and Dorset Chamber.
Coffee & Network
Informal breakfast events with speakers and relaxed networking opportunities.

Event Sponsorship

Doing Business Overseas
Are you trading internationally? Let our expert International Trade team help you make the most of the opportunities of doing global business. We can help with documentation, customs and finances, as well as training.
Through our global network, we can work with you to gather key knowledge on potential markets, highlight overseas opportunities and advise on best practice.
Preferential Exchange
Are you importing/exporting, paying for a service abroad, receiving international funding? Through your membership you can access preferential exchange rates and zero international fees.
Business Buddies
Business Buddies are volunteers from the business community who give their time freely to other Dorset Chamber members to be that ‘friend in business’ and act as a sounding board.
This isn’t a business advice or mentoring service. It’s designed to provide business help and support in a very informal way. There is no charge and the service is exclusive to Dorset Chamber members.
Use the Chamber Boardroom for Free
Members can use the boardroom at Chamber House up to 10 times per year (dependant on your membership package). This includes use of the AV, tea, cofee and wifi for approx. 10 people.
Ideal for a change of scene or if you don’t have a suitable meeting space.
Digital and Essential members can book at rate of £35 plus VAT per half day.
