Foundation Award in International Trade
The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has a selection of nationally accredited International Trade Courses delivered by the Accredited Chamber Network. These can be viewed below.
These courses form an Import and Export curriculum, giving international traders the essential skills invaluable to small and large businesses alike.
Candidates achieving Pass or Merit in any of the 11 course topics will receive a certificate in each area. Those who pass any six of the course topics will achieve a nationally recognised Foundation Award in International Trade. The modules include:
- Understanding Exporting
- Import Procedures
- Incoterms
- Customs Procedures & Documentation
- Export Documentation
- Preference Rules of Origin
- Methods of Payment
- Documentary Letters of Credit
- Agents & Distributors
- Inward & Outward Processing
- Understanding Commodity Codes
