Another rewarding relationship, thanks to the Dorset Chamber

A last-minute packaging requirement and an urgent request for help to the Dorset Chamber has led to a new and exciting relationship between Renewable Energy Solutions provider, Daylight Energy and local manufacturer, Nunet.

Daylight Energy’s latest energy saving product, Redheat, has been drawing attention from the hospitality industry as a low energy heating solution for hotels rooms and social spaces. One such company that Daylight Energy have been working with is the Marriott Hotel group. After a recent meeting with the Marriott, the cluster director urgently requested a complete Redheat installation kit to present to their internal teams. With the equipment primed and ready, but just 10 days to create a custom package from nothing, Daylight Energy approached Steve Bulley at the Dorset Chamber to put us in contact with someone who could make this request a reality. Steve instantly put Daylight Energy in contact with Morgan Leadbitter, MD of Nunet based in Three Legged Cross.

Sarah Levett, Marketing Manager, completed the graphics and worked with Morgan from Nunet to have the prototype packaging ready in time for the Marriott’s deadline; “Morgan replied instantly to the request from Steve and within 2 days David and I were in Morgan’s office thrashing out the design, materials, sizing and any other requirements. Morgan and his colleagues completed understood what we were looking for; plastic free and fully recyclable packaging to securely house a set of specialist equipment, that wouldn’t look out of place on the shelf of an Electrical Wholesaler. Morgan kept in communication with me throughout the project to reassure me and delivered the project on time, to our exact requirements! The whole team is absolutely thrilled with the result.”

Nunet design and make binders, folder, boxes and wallets for hundreds of local and national companies, including Wyatt Homes, Dorset Chamber, Honda, BEET language Centre and Little Box of Crochet. On completion, Morgan commented “We are new members to the chamber and were excited to build this relationship with Daylight Energy. I am so proud of the Nunet team for stepping up and preparing such bespoke packaging on such a tight deadline. It’s also great to see companies looking for quality packaging that is much more environmentally sustainable, mixed with such a willingness to collaborate”.

Both Daylight Energy and Nunet are looking forward to continuing this successful relationship and scaling up the packaging production as Redheat’s popularity continues to grow.
