Marsham Court is triple finalist in the 2020 Dorset Tourism Awards

The family-owned Marsham Court Hotel has once again been chosen as a finalist in no fewer than three categories in the 2020 Dorset Tourism Awards. Having had a roller coaster of a year, the news brought a welcome boost to Managing Director Rosie Radwell and her team.

Rosie said ‘It has been an incredibly difficult and emotional year but we have dug deep and carried on planning in order to safeguard the business for the future – you can’t just sit still – the show must go on!

The three categories are: Hotel of the Year, Business Events and Wedding Venue and Dog-Friendly Business.

The hotel is no stranger to industry Awards and has enjoyed many successes including the prestigious Dorset Business Awards and last year they also went on to gain recognition at the South West Tourism Awards in the Business Events and Wedding Venue category.

Business Development Director, Jane Swift commented, ‘The pandemic may have temporarily closed most hospitality and tourism businesses for the moment, but that hasn’t stopped us continuing to plan and market our business for the future. Awards such as these are incredibly important as they give us great exposure and let our guests know that we are at the top of our game’.

‘While the hotel has been closed, we have used the time wisely and invested heavily in the building so that our guests will benefit from the improvements that have been made when we are permitted to re-open.

The Marsham Court has 95 ensuite bedrooms and 9 meeting and event spaces for 2 to 280 delegates.
