Business invests in Motion pictures

A state-of-the-art film studio in Bournemouth has been opened up to businesses and organisations wishing to market their products or services professionally.

The Motion Studio, a £200,000 investment by businessman Steve McKay and based in Francis Avenue, is a self-contained 64 sq m facility, with leading edge cameras and technically advanced equipment.

The studio has five cameras meaning all angels are covered, and also boasts television quality lighting, a top end mixing desk, control room, teleprompter and large SMART Board, plus kitchen, lounge and shower facilities.

It is available to hire by the day, including the time of professionally trained engineers who operate all the equipment. Videos are then cut, edited, and provided within the daily cost.

Businesses or organisations can hire the studio for any filming needs – from product demonstrations and promotions to instructional videos and training. The studio could also be used for company, corporate, product or employee presentations, inductions, ‘how-to’ advisory videos and podcasts

Steve said: “We have built this studio from scratch – installing leading edge technology to create the perfect place to build your brand and move digitally – and we are throwing it open to everyone.

“This is very much a new era for marketing and it won’t be long before such quality presentations will be demanded by most customers. It’s also a hugely cost-effective way of selling worldwide.

“We want to ensure we remain ahead of the game and fully immersed in the digital age and provide the best possible service in a completely innovative way – leading broadcasters have visited and praised our set-up.

“We are offering our affordable facilities for use by businesses and organisations which perhaps do not have an ongoing requirement that warrants their own studio investment, thus saving them time and money and cutting out travel expenditure.

“I do genuinely want to help other local, and not so local, businesses to get a taste of the digital marketing world – they won’t look back.”

The Motion Studio costs £995 for a day.
