Darlena watchstraps, based in Bournemouth, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The company was founded by, (Director) Margaret Hook’s family in 1966, swiftly becoming the market leaders in high fashion straps, supplying Harrods, Fenwick Group etc.
Roger and Margaret Hook took the business over in 1980 concentrating more on traditional two-piece straps and watch bracelets. Their ethos throughout has been to offer a fine quality product coupled with excellent customer service.
James, their son, and also a Director, being the third generation, joined the business in 2002 after university and working within the trade and overseas.
To further extend their product offering Darlena purchased BJM silver charm company, also a CMJ supplier, in 2012 adding an attractive collection of earrings, crosses and pendants to complement the range.
After 50 years of serving the trade we are hugely passionate about customer care and to this day our ethos has remained steadfast.
