As part of an ongoing strategy to develop the service provided to the South’s business market, Breeze Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed Chris Brown to the role of Commercial Vehicle Fleet Manager.
With almost 30 years’ contract hire experience, Chris will complete the Breeze Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle corporate team, working closely with existing Business Development Managers Graeme Mellis and Paul Brockwell.
Chris’s arrival coincides with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles winning the coveted Van Fleet Manufacturer of the Year crown, as judged by a panel of industry experts, including fleet decision makers, and representatives from leasing companies and the major pricing guides.
Chris said: “I’m delighted to be working for a brand that has won over 15 awards this year alone. We have outstanding new and revised models and these accolades give reassurance to customers that they’re getting the best vans on the market.”
He highlights the all-new Crafter as the vehicle he is most excited about due to the versatility of the product to be tailored to meet customer need; as a luton, dropside, tipper or entirely bespoke conversion.

To help reduce vehicle downtime during key business hours, Breeze Volkswagen Van Centres in Poole, Southampton and Portsmouth offer extended opening hours by appointment. They have also recently launched an innovative Mobile Service Unit in Hampshire, allowing work to be completed at a time and location convenient to the customer.
