The countdown is on to Dorset’s disability charity’s newest event, Paws on the Shores. Diverse Abilities is hosting an event for dogs at Shore Road Beach on Sunday October 3 from 10am.
The event runs from the beach at Shore Road to Branksome Chine and back again and participants are invited to run, jog, dance, or stroll along the 5km route with their four-legged friends. All finishers will receive a doggy bag of treats from event sponsors Burns Pet Nutrition.
Rebecca Wilkinson, sponsorship officer at Burns Pet Nutrition, commented: “We are so excited to be a part of the Paws on the Shores event. We are passionate about bringing the community together to enjoy the outdoors, especially when it’s a walk or jog with your furry pal. “This event is a great excuse to get out and about and enjoy the delights of the coast on our doorstep – take a stroll along the beach with all our four-legged friends.”
