Barnabas Café Helps Raise Funds for Adults with Disabilities

Barnabas, the day opportunity hub for adults with disabilities run by Diverse Abilities, is opening a community café at the Good Shepherd Church Hall on Stanfield Road in Parkstone from 4 October between 11.30am – 2.30pm.
The adults that attend the social hub enjoy making homemade cakes and quiches and are inviting the local community to come and enjoy some scrummy treats, at great prices, all in aid of the charity. Chutneys and craft items will also be available to purchase.
Lorraine Holland, team leader at Barnabas, said: “The Barnabas Community Cafe will be open every Wednesday between 11.30am – 2.30pm from 4 October. Meet friends for a chat while enjoying homemade goodies, meeting students that attend the hub and raising funds for Diverse Abilities.”
