Donation Helps With The Work Of Headway (Dorset)

Headway (Dorset) provides a Befriending Service throughout the region and includes activities such as weekly drop-in groups at various venues around Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester, weekly walking football sessions and an allotment during the summer.  Walking, sailing, pottery making, cinema visits and general socialising are also on the agenda.

Local firm J.P. Morgan has just donated £1,500 to help towards three group outings, the first of which was kayaking and paddle boarding in Poole Park.

Ade Stark is the Operations Manager Headway (Dorset) “This is a great way of building confidence and self-esteem amongst the group and we are very grateful for the donation. In July we will be going on a trip to Monkey World and we are currently discussing amongst ourselves the destination for the third outing.”

J.P. Morgan employs 4,000 people at its technology and operations centre in Bournemouth and has a strong history of community engagement.
