Following the success of their first annual Entrepreneurs’ Lunch at the Chewton Glen Hotel on Friday 20th April, South Coast business and tax advisors, Inspire, have certainly lived up to their name.
With an electric atmosphere from the start, the much-anticipated Entrepreneurs’ Lunch exceeded all expectations. Attended by over 140 of the South Coast’s most successful entrepreneurs, this was a gathering of great business minds and an opportunity for South Coast’s best and brightest to celebrate entrepreneurship.
Guests couldn’t help but be inspired as the key note speaker, Tamara Lohan MBE, entrepreneur and co-founder of the boutique hotel booking website Mr & Mrs Smith, took to the stage to share her expert insights on entrepreneurship, digital innovation and leadership. As CTO of Mr & Mrs Smith, Tamara’s passion for digital marketing and online strategy has seen her evolve the company’s digital infrastructure to impressive heights. Having been awarded an MBE for services to the British travel industry, Tamara was a much-anticipated guest at Inspire’s very first Entrepreneurs’ Lunch.
After a three-course lunch in beautiful surroundings, Founder and Managing Director of Inspire, Warren Munson, shared with the audience a selection of inspirational stories about exceptional local entrepreneurs and business leaders, who he felt through their own sheer ambition and drive, had gone above and beyond in their industries.
Warren Munson said: “Inspire created the Entrepreneurs’ Lunch for one very important purpose: to bring the business community together to celebrate entrepreneurship and also champion some of the standout entrepreneurs and business leaders across the South Coast. It’s so important that the business community gets together to celebrate entrepreneurship and recognise the contributions it makes to not just the business community, but also the wider community and economy in terms of wealth generation, employment opportunities, innovation and giving back to society. It was an incredible day that words cannot describe! The energy and passion generated by putting likeminded entrepreneurs and business owners together was electric, and the guests made some really positive connections. Tamara’s talk informed, motivated and provided some great insights, and the feedback from the event has been tremendous. There is no doubt the lunch will be back for 2019!”
