Maidmans mark more achievements: Domestic Mover of the Year 2018 Finalists
Poole based Maidmans were delighted to once again be one of the three finalists of the ‘Domestic Mover of the Year 2018’ (DMotY) competition. The result was announced at the British Association of Removers (BAR) Annual Conference held at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel on 19th May 2018
The DMotY is held each year by BAR and is a prestigious accolade given to removals companies for achieving outstanding levels of customer service within the domestic removals industry. The BAR is the industry body responsible for setting the high standards of the removals industry and ensuring compliance in accordance with its Code of Practice.
Maidmans continues longstanding success
Although not the eventual winner, Maidmans remains one of the most successful companies to have ever entered the competition having been crowned winners on two previous occasions 2011/12 and 2013/14 having also been finalists in 2014/2015 and 2016/2017.
Steve Webber, Maidmans Director, believes the company’s inclusion continues to show BAR’S acknowledgment of their ongoing commitment to the high standards of the removals Industry. He commented to say ‘everyone works as part of a team through the whole of the removal process and the fact that we have expanded whilst keeping all our staff and maintaining our very high standards is a testament to our beliefs and strategies’.
Attention to detail and customer satisfaction is also vitally important, Steve added ‘we have many regular customers and a large proportion of our work is repeat business or through recommendation, but we continue to look for ways to improve’.
Maidmans has provided a removals and storage service to the Poole, Bournemouth and surrounding Counties for over 39 years in addition to further complementary services, including secure shredding.
Its participation in this year’s final proves yet again that it is not just Maidmans clients that are going places.
