This economic update will concentrate on hoping for the best but preparing for the worst...

2023 marked the year in which interest rates peaked as inflation slowed big-time. Investors now turn their attention to the timing and extent of rate cuts in 2024. Major central banks are expected to cut interest rates together, while regional economic growth may diverge. A soft landing in the US economy seems the most likely outcome for now, though there are still plenty of risks to watch out for. Meanwhile, government indebtedness places constraints on fiscal policy which will be a hot topic in a year full of elections. We will dissect what these important macro topics mean for the markets (and your money!) and how our investment strategy is positioned for 2024.

A breakfast buffet is included, and the update will start at 8:30am and last for approximately 1 hour. Afterwards you are welcome to stay and network over coffee until 10am.
