Solicitor marks 50 years on roll of solicitors

Felicity Hedger, a consultant with Humphries Kirk solicitors, has recently celebrated 50 years on the roll of solicitors.

The roll is the register of solicitors in England and Wales and is governed by the Law Society. Being enrolled on the register entitles someone to practise as a solicitor.

Felicity is a consultant with Humphries Kirk, having retired as Senior Partner in 2011.  She has over 25 years of experience in wealth management, tax planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and elderly client law.

Commenting on reaching this significant milestone, Felicity said:

“Fifty years may sound like a long time to some, but when you spend it doing a job you are passionate about, time really does fly. Being a solicitor means upholding the rule of law, being held to high ethical standards, and acting with integrity with all clients, and I have always strived to live up to these standards. I’m incredibly proud to have been a solicitor for over 50 years and have found it incredibly satisfying to help people through what can often be complicated but extremely important issues in their lives.”

Felicity is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). As a member of SFE, Felicity was instrumental in developing Humphries Kirk’s service ‘Care is our Concern’, a unique service aimed at providing administrative care and legal advice for the elderly or housebound.

A keen advocate of local community and charitable organisations, Felicity is an active Trustee of Life Education Wessex (LEW), a worthwhile charity which helps children to make healthy choices.

Felicity spends as much of her leisure time as permits with her children and young grandchildren who keep her young and active.
