Coles Miller Raises £1,954 for Charity

Solicitors Coles Miller have raised £1,954 for charity at a series of local fundraising events.

Employment law Partner Neil Andrews ran in the Bournemouth Marathon to collect more than £1,000 for Poole’s Forest Holme Hospice – double his £500 target.

It was Neil’s first marathon: “I managed to finish. The first half went really well and I achieved a personal best time for a half marathon.

“In the second half I slowed up as my left foot really swelled up with tendonitis. I crossed the line at 4.50 hours,” he said.

He added: “We have raised over £1,000 for Forest Holme Hospice – it was a fantastic effort by all those that donated, really kind.”

Colleagues at the Bournemouth and Poole offices held a Macmillan coffee morning to collect more than £370 in memory of a former colleague who died of cancer.

Coles Miller will also be donating £584 to family support charity Home-Start after the Family Law Seminar that took place on September 28.

Home-Start volunteers help families with young children deal with the challenges they face. They support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children.

Coles Miller has offices in Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Broadstone and Wimborne.
