Topsie’s Yeovil is the latest nursery to join the Tops Day Nurseries family.
This new addition brings the total number of nurseries owned by Tops Day Nurseries to over 30, providing Early Education and Care to over 5,000 children and employing over 500 colleagues, strengthening its position as one of the largest nursery groups in the South.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the owners, of the 40 place preschool, required a quick sale. The preschool is currently called St Mary’s Pre-School but will be renamed to Topsies Yeovil, becoming an extension to the existing Tops Day Nurseries Yeovil on St Michael’s Avenue, Yeovil.
Topsies Yeovil is a community pre-school that was committee run, in a hall within a community hub, also housing a church and various other community facilities. Furthermore, Tops aim to be a part of, and contribute, to each nurseries’ local community so the community aspect surrounding the pre-school will remain strong. Parents will also benefit from flexible bookings, like the rest of the Tops Day Nurseries across the South, where they can book to the nearest 15 minutes. Other benefits include; Sustainable outdoor and indoor environments, no added sugar menus and a range of extra-curricular activities.
Katie Parrish, the current manager of Tops Yeovil, whom recently received a Good from Ofsted, will be managing Topsies Yeovil whilst Tops Day Nurseries recruit for permanent staff.
