Philip Sherwood, a consultant to Coles Miller Solicitors, will be the next president of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).
CILEx Fellow Mr Sherwood will be inaugurated as the institute’s 55th president at a dinner on Thursday July 19 2018 at Norton Park, a hotel in Sutton Scotney near Winchester.
He is currently vice-president of the institute, the professional association and governing body for chartered legal executives. CILEx works closely with the government and the Ministry of Justice as one of the three main legal regulators.
Mr Sherwood is a committee member and former chair of Bournemouth & District Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
He is a self-employed legal executive and consultant who specialises in personal injury cases and other litigation.
Mr Sherwood was a legal executive at Coles Miller from December 2003 to April 2011 and remains a consultant to the Dorset law firm.
