Condor Office Solutions celebrate 30th Anniversary

2019 is no ordinary year for the team here at Condor Office Solutions; it marks the 30th anniversary since we first moved in to the region and began supporting businesses throughout the county with Canon managed print services.

Founded in Hampshire in 1987 by brothers, David & Mike Bayles, it didn’t take long for Condor to expand west into neighbouring Dorset; first establishing our customer base in the county in 1989. A combination of providing complex print solutions with the personal touch of a local business has led to rapid growth over the past 30 years. Our success in the region was also largely down to Rob King, with whom many Chamber members will no-doubt be well acquainted with, who oversaw our affairs in Dorset up until his retirement in 2018.

Condor Managing Director, David Bayles, said: “Our time in Dorset has stretched over 3 decades and 2019 marks the anniversary of what has been a wonderful journey. I’d like to thank all our employees, customers and indeed the Chamber for helping us grow year-on-year.”

Following Rob’s retirement last year, his son-in-law, Joe Gartshore has taken over the reins and now heads up our operations in Dorset. Having represented Condor in the area for 15 years, Joe is already well established in the region and is looking forward to growing the Condor name in Dorset as well as furthering our involvement with the Chamber.

“Having lived & worked in Bournemouth for many years, I am extremely proud to be leading the Dorset division of Condor. Together with the rest of the team, we are looking forward to continuing our growth in the region and supporting businesses & schools in the area with managed print services.”

Whilst many aspects of business have changed during our 30 years in the area, our commitment to working in Dorset and supporting local businesses has not. With a growing team of engineers stationed across the county, we are well positioned and looking forward to working with businesses in the Dorset region for another 30 years to come!
