Cricketing Legends Support Diverse Abilities to Raise £7,000

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, hosted its second cricket lunch with legends Michael Vaughan and Shaun Udal raising over £7,000 to further support children and adults living with disabilities in the county.

The event, held at Canford School, was a huge success and much fun was had by all the guests in attendance.

As well as hearing from the two cricketing celebrities, guests received a glass of prosecco on arrival before tucking into a three-course lunch prepared by Glen Elie – head chef at Canford School. They also had the chance to play table games and take part in an auction and raffle.

Lauren McCullough, events manager, at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are very pleased everyone had a fantastic time and we have received great feedback following the event. A big thank you goes to all attendees, our guest speakers and Canford School for hosting the event.”
